John Daly at the Fort Smith Nationwide and Me

I received a phone call today from the Nationwide Tour Media Staff letting me know that I am scheduled to participate in some Junior Golf Clinics and other events with John Daly. And we are going to play some golf together as I understand it. I was told to “get ready for a lot of media coverage.”

I’m taking a “wild guess” here, but I’m pretty sure the media is there to cover John Daly.

As everyone knows, John (can I call him “John” ?) is from Arkansas and his playing in the Nationwide Tournament is cause for excitement in Fort Smith. Despite all the “news” we hear about him – I’m told that he does a lot of charity fund-raising in Arkansas and is highly regarded for his efforts.

This should be interesting.

Earned Exemption into My First Nationwide Tournament

I finished at the Top of the Money List for the “Race to the Fort Smith Exemption.” This will be my first Nationwide Tour event.

Round-2 Complete – Cut at 2-Under Par

Round-2 was completed this morning and the Cut was at 2-Under Par. Still having weather delays here. I’m at 4-Under Par for the Tournament.

Round-2 Complete and the Cut was at 2-Under Par. In Round-3 I’m playing with Jon Curran. Jon is also sponsored by Cleveland Golf and part of the Cleveland Golf Player Development Program.
